BEACH BARGAIN BAZAAR
The Women’s Auxiliary of the Surf City Fire Company & EMS will hold a special fund-raising event on Saturday June 18. A gigantic outdoor/indoor RUMMAGE SALE is scheduled to start at 9 am, running to 2 pm.
The group anticipates having a large variety of items, including kitchen ware, vintage jewelry, household and beach themed goods, toys, puzzles and pictures. We will also be selling the 50/50 Mega Money raffle chances. The community, as well as island visitors are invited to come out and support the Auxiliary at this unique event. The money raised at this and other Auxiliary fund raisers support the purchase of necessary equipment for the Fire Company and EMS. Recent items include upgraded radios, a Fast Board, and Hall chairs.
The Women’s Auxiliary is always looking to new members; they meet at the Fire House on the 2nd Tuesday of each month at 7 pm. Volunteers from anywhere on the Island, as well as the mainland, are welcome to join. For additional information or questions, please call Kathy Morocco at 609-494-8149.
